Celebrating Our Partners: The Pillars of Camp NexGen™ 2024 in Ghana

Camp NexGen™ starts with a vision — a vision that is brought to life through the incredible partnerships we forge in each new city we visit. Each year, as we set up camp in a different location, the challenge of finding suitable partners who share our passion for empowering students is significant, especially when we lack a long history in the region. However, this year in Ghana, we were fortunate to collaborate with some outstanding organizations that not only understood our mission but were eager to join us in making a difference.

Working alongside local partners allows us to deepen our ties within the community, creating a more sustainable impact. It’s a powerful affirmation of our work when both local and international organizations rally around LGRRG’s vision, sharing their time, talents, and resources to help us realize our goals.

To that end, we want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to all our esteemed partners who contributed to making Camp NexGen™ 2024 a success: Ghana International School, BlackBand Co., Global Air Drone Academy, Impact Youth Foundation, Power to Girls, Bras for Girls, and especially our individual and corporate donors whose continued financial support fuels this great work.

This year’s camp was enriched by the generosity and commitment of our partners:

· Ghana International School provided a beautiful facility that served as the perfect backdrop for our event. Their team worked diligently to ensure a smooth, safe, and enjoyable experience for all participants.

· BlackBand Co. and Power to Girls played a crucial role in our on-ground logistics, guiding our team through the unfamiliar terrain of Ghana, especially since most of us were entering the country for the first time.

· We were excited to partner with Bras for Girls, who generously supplied sports bras for all our girl campers. For nearly every girl in attendance, this was their very first sports bra, marking a significant milestone in their personal journeys.

· Our main program partners, Impact Youth Foundation and Global Air Drone Academy, brought our SPORT & STEAM sections to life, helping campers explore their interests in both athletics and academics.

The success of Camp NexGen™ is a testament to the strength of collaboration and the impact we can create when we work together. We are grateful for the shared vision and efforts of our partners and look forward to continuing these vital relationships as we empower more young people in the years to come.
